The Great
American Trailer Park Musical, with music and lyrics by David Nehls and book by Betsy Kelso
. Directed and choreographed by Kikau Alvaro
and Jacob Brent, this “Broadway musical romp through Florida’s most exclusive
down-home trailer park—Armadilllo Acres” will be presented on the Don Powell
stage from April 24 through May 3, 2015. Designers Brian Redfern, Danielle Griffith,
Chad Shelton, and A.J. Paulin along with their crews are already hard at work
designing this musical spectacular. In the coming weeks, this blog will be the
one-stop location for information related to the world of Armadillo Acres,
inside information on research and inspiration, cast and crew interviews. Stay
tuned as this musical “[j]am-packed with quirky characters, big hair, road
